Tour 2: Victoria
 
Located at the southern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia's capital city, home to Canada's Pacific naval fleet, home to the country's most mild climate and at the Western Extreme of Queen Victoria's British Empire, Victoria is a city of great contrasts.
While Victoria is an historic city with an English heart that lives on afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel and flowers at the Butchart Gardens, it is also an exciting and modern city that can take advantage of one of the world's most favourable climates with much to see and do.

A highlight of anyone’s travels to Southern British Columbia, come with us and delight in the joys of Canada’s most
welcoming climate! Relax as we cruise among the tranquil Gulf Islands on BC Ferries’ modern and well-appointed
ships. Lose yourself in the Butchart Gardens and once we’ve dropped you off for some free time at the Empress
Hotel, delight in the historic city centre of Victoria- the capital of British Columbia.

Tour 2B: Victoria, Whale Watching, the Butchart Gardens (12.5 Hours)
This is the full-on, everything-you-can-do-in-one-day tour! Depart Vancouver and head across to Vancouver Island
on one of BC Ferries spacious and modern ferries. We’ll head directly to the Butchart Gardens where you’ll get a
good taste of Victoria’s original sign of gentility, horticulture. From there, we’ll head straight to Victoria to the Empress
Hotel. There, we’ll wave you off on your whale watching adventure. Arriving back from seeing whales, you’ll have
some free time to peruse the shops in downtown Victoria before we head back to Vancouver.

Tour 2C: Victoria for the Day... no Butchart Gardens (12.5 hours)
This is the full-on Victoria tour! We’ll head to Victoria on one of BC Ferries’
superferries, arriving into “The City of Gardens” in three of the most relaxing hours on the planet. Once in Victoria,
we’ll nip into some of the lesser-visited places in the city to give you a local’s perspective of what is one of the most
livable cities in the world.
We’ll drop you off in the heart of the city- at the Empress Hotel to explore the city on your own before returning
home having seen some of British Columbia’s most historic sights, and done some of the province’s best shopping!

Tour 2D: The Butchart Gardens and the Saanich Peninsula (10.5 Hours)
This is the tour that visits the Butchart Garden but does not include Victoria.
We’ll take you directly to the Butchart Gardens from Vancouver- cruising with BC Ferries among the Gulf Islands.
Believe it or not, we’ll save time using the back roads, giving you a truly pastoral perspective on the provinces
already most genteel region- the Saanich Peninsula. Once at the Butchart Gardens, you’ll have extra time to fill
your senses- and to recharge your spirit.
